Le festival consacre sa thématique aux saxophones et son affiche expose le thème retenu.

La sacem apporte son concours à cette édition, ainsi que la compagnie Air Inter et Sugar.

Eddie Shaw et the Wolf Gang (U.S.A.), Nuit des Ténors (création avec Johnny Griffin , Guy Lafitte, Lew Tabackin, Lionel Belmondo ), Benny Carter et Saxomania (création U.S.A / France), Gérard Badini Big Band invite Dee Dee Bridgewater (France /U.S.A.).
